The dodo is an extinct flightless bird that was living on the island of Mauritius, which is east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. This on is depicted wearing a fancy jacket and is brought straight out of the film "Alice in Wonderland" to the skin of our customer. The face of our little friend is really stunning! The beautiful contrast between the dark and the light is bringing this bird back to life, especially in the face with the black beak with the precisely placed white highlights on it and all over the other important parts in the face, like the nose or the eye.

Nice looking silhouette of Don Quixote on his horse. You can clearly see all the important things, like the shield or the lance, but in an aesthetic that looks more like the Rorschach test than anything else. The design combined with the watercolour in the back gives the tattoo a nice artsy look. In the background there is a nice balance between each of the colours, but with beautiful transitions between them. That’s what makes a good Aquarell tattoo.
