The Maori are indigenous people that originated in New Zealand. They have a form of body art, known as moko but more commonly referred to as Maori tattooing. The art form was brought to the Maori from Polynesia and is considered highly sacred. Great finished Maori addon half-sleeve. This tattoo is featuring some patterns inspired by Polynesian and Maori tattoos. The Turtle fits perfect ontop of the delta-muskle and creates a nice center point for the tattoo.

If you take a look inside the symbols, you can see a very detailed second Deathstar, with a lot of fine lines and great shading. The horns got some nice shading and with that little bit of dots sprinkled onto them, gives the horns a nice structure. The tattoo sits perfectly on the arm and looks amazing from every angle. "Each brushstroke is a decision." Simple looking, but more complicated to tattoo than you might think. Our artist lets this black stroke look like it was painted with a brush. The added drops add detail on top and provide an interesting motive with a simple composition. Even though it is just a brush stroke it has a Japanese flair to it.
This abstract scripting is really well placed, right below the collar bones. The line with the triangle shaped geometric symbol that looks like an arrow sits also well in the center of the chest on the sternum. All of them sit well and have enough space between each other to breath. They look complex and simple at the same time complementing the female anatomy in a pretty way.

This price John tattoo sits so well on the leg, with his hands on the logo and the crown on top you can really tell who the King is. Beautiful shading on this piece, it gives it this three dimensional look, as if the hands are really gripping onto the coat of arms. This rose features more or less realistic proportions, but in a stylised execution. Some nice shading on the leaves, some lighter shadows between the blossom leaves and not to forget beautiful fine lines in them as well. All this with the added white highlights sprinkled here and there makes it a pretty and artistic rose to look at, and a great tattoo as well.
This dark script on the ribs is just stunning the amount of detail in something that is basically only a shape is stunning. The lines in the script that are broken into pieces, makes it feel rustic, like an old engraving from a few years ago. The twists and twirls in the letters are doing a great job making the text interesting to look at. One colour, no shading but no need for it in this amazing tattoo!
Tinytattoos or minitattoos are always welcome if you want to get something on your body, but you still want skin left for other, bigger tattoos. "Good Vibes" is a great example of a small text, that our customer wanted, but not all across his forearm. Just big enough to be a nice quick reminder. If something is important for you, it doesn't need to be huge, because you know the meaning anyway.
This mini tattoo features some fine lines, especially in the ears the face and the knife he's holding. Yeah, you heard right, this cute little kawaii hippo guy is holding a little flipknife! I don't know what this tattoo is trying to tell us, but it's probably funny or disturbing. From the technical point of view, this tattoo is well made with pretty clean linework.
This dog got beautifully portrayed in this tattoo. The amber brown eyes, the whiskers on the snout and adorable look make this tattoo sooo adorable. It's a well done recreation of a best buddy. You can only see their backs, but they are recognizable in an instant. The fineline aesthetic in general is good for tinytattoos and this one is another perfect example
This symbol looks like the sun, but in a very simplistic approach. The placement on the hand fits perfect. The simple all in black aesthetic always look good as a tattoo and especially on the hand. Well placed, clean fine lines and good looking minimalistic design, makes for a sick tattoo!
The flower is made only with dots, it's a stunning piece of art, and cost a lot of time but the result can be seen! Dotwork works great for simple shapes, pattern or shading, to give the tattoo more structure and make it more interesting, its a nice technic but doesn't work in every style. If you are interested in dotwork, just speak with your tattoo artist and ask him/her if dotwork would be possible.

The use of dot work is the cherry on top of this otherwise so clean fine line tattoo. It gives the doorway depth and not only a black inside. The clef is very well integrated into the dots.
Luca did a great job hiding the big old tribal tattoo inside the pattern of the new realistic owl head. A broken clock does the job too. Together they hide the old tattoo perfectly and make for a great cover-up!
"Aries are very honest people, their words can easily offend others." The clean hexagons placed perfectly on the chest give us a look at the geometrical simplified Aries head, which is a zodiac sign known for its honesty.
"Keep smiling... and one day life will get tired of upsetting you." This is a different take on a smiley. The emoji sits perfectly on the muscle and the effect of the spray got translated gorgeously. But the arm wasn't finished, so we added some roughly sketches graffiti mountains under it! All in all this makes for a super cool abstract piece with simplicity and well recreated spraycan effects in it.
"You can't blame us. Disney taught us to rebel at a young age." This not so stereotypical Blackwork design features some fine lines, and an overall simple art style. It seems like Disney is hiding a small secret.

The fine lines coming from the sun with the soft shading in the mountain tops show a great contrast in the tattoo without using colour. Everything is beautifully framed inside of two triangles, which makes it a very nice good looking but compact tattoo.

"Shadows mutter, mist replies, darkness purrs as midnight sighs." This Black and gray forest got directly drawn on the skin. Free Hand you can say. After the sketch was finished and the customer was happy with it, Luca started with the tattooing. The tattoo has spooky vibes and the blurred trees in the back create a nice deep perspective. All in all a great example of tattooing a free handed sketch.
Originally, the Moko gave insight to a man’s tribal affiliation and social ranking. "Every shape, pattern and symbol told a story of his unique background and offered an insightful connection to his integrity and whakapapa. However, what you see today isn’t always a precise representation of the past. A lot of the patterns used today are for aesthetic reasons." The Patterns on this arm are blocked in 3 big rectangles. These rectangles get cut into much smaller ones and filled with geometric patterns that are also often used in Polynesian Tattoos. On the Back of the arm three different but similar patterns form a stripe that runs down the whole piece, which lets everything band together even nicer. ( seen in the left picture )

The anatomic hearth works perfect for the design and the flags that come out of the tubes make for a fluid tattoo that goes around the lower leg. The sketched fine line shading and different textures you can find in the heart help to let this style come to life.

Centered on the hand, yes, but moved to the side isn't common, but it fits perfectly. One leaf of the mandala even goes on top of the thumb, which makes the otherwise geometric piece more open without breaking the rules of the mandala. Pretty detailed tattoo with a lot of fine lines.

Deer or hoofed ruminant mammals forming the family Cervidae. All male deer possess antlers, with the exception of the water deer, in which males have long tusk-like canines that reach below the lower jaw. This Deer head is stunning, its horns bend perfectly on the customers forearm. The always curious face mirrors the personality of this animal wonderfully. A great tattoo with a unique style, which takes the fur to another level! Best seen in the lower region of the animal's neck.

“A tree with strong roots laughs at storms.” A nice combination of the Geometric elements and the tree trunk with its strong roots going down. Great use of the fine lines to highlight the cracks in the tree. It makes it more detailed which creates a nice contrast to the simple triangles and gives the trunk a bit more structure.
