Blue new school rose with an eye

This blue rose with the googly eye inside is well done in a new school design. The fades between the colour in the blue and the green are so well done. These are placed to give the piece some shadows, which always help to make the tattoo richer in contrast. This is the reason the rose looks so "3D", because of the clash of the dark places and the highlights.

Watercolour message in a bottle

“True love is rare, and it's the only thing that gives life real meaning.” Pretty Aquarell tattoo on the forearm of our customer. The watercolors got used to highlight the most important parts of the piece, to give them even more power. The blue for the sea behind the bottle and the anchor and the lovely red in front of the heart shaped part of the anchor. This Aquarell piece looks really cute and the shading gives it the right amount of contrast so the colour in the background still feels like added bonus and don't take away from the actual things itself.

Rick and Morty, mr. Meeseeks tattoo

"Look at me! I'm Mr. Meeseeks" This coloured tattoo is made to look like a sticker that is sitting on the customer. Our funny but depressing little friend Mr. Meeseeks got tattooed perfectly. The fine lines that shape the sticker with the white outline looks stunning. For the sticker effect, we put a shadow behind the white, to get the effect of sitting above the skin. Nice tattoo that every fan of the show can look at and smile.

Besides the colour of the heart, diamond and the roses they don't have much in common, but this striking Trashpolka Style with a bit of Dots and watercolour added converts it into an amazing sleeve of art on our customers forearm.

Going on a trip

“Isn't it amazing how much stuff we get done the day before vacation?” Aren't we all looking for vacation at these times? The roughly sketched design of this tattoo lets it seem as if it got scribbled directly onto the skin. With a bit of watercolour painted afterwards. Simple but very effective. Nice use of different shading techniques and a few structural differences between the grass and the ground helps the Aquarell aesthetic come to life.

Old school swallow

A swallow bird can mean many things depending on a person’s cultural background. For ancient Greeks, these birds represent their goddess of love, namely, Aphrodite. The Greeks believed that swallows have the ability to bring love and happiness to a person. For the ancient Romans, they associate swallows as the embodiment of lost souls of children who died during childbirth. Lastly, for modern Christians, these birds mean rebirth or new beginnings. No matter the cultural meaning of these birds is, one can conclude that they symbolize a form of hope. This may be the reason why these birds are usually protected in the vast majority of cultures. Really nice example of an old school tattoo. Nice simple colours and great shading let this swallow stand out from the rest. Cute little tattoo on the shoulder. The lines are well done and have to be for a good minimalistic old school tattoo.

Watercoloured pawprints

"When I needed a hand, I found your paws" Four little splashes of watercolour for four cute paws. The blue and the green work really well together. They got enough contrast so you can tell which feet were in which colour, but at the same time they mix together beautifully when they meet. The paw prints got a shiny surface as if the cat was standing on a glass surface and you look at it from below. Nice idea, the cat probably walked on glass tables a lot. :)
